Greetings from Joshua Tree! I’m inside the national park and doing some climbing today. If you know the difference between bouldering and climbing, I’m bouldering. I’m just out here by myself. It’s a little alone time and a chance to get out of my head. I wanted to away from everything and try to get down into my body.
Data’s great. It’s fun. I love being up in my head. I also love analyzing and figuring out problems. Sometimes, it’s nice to get out of your head and do something completely different.
Sometimes, I think data is my religion. There’s that Deming’s quote, “In God we trust. All others must bring data.” I think being out in nature and being in national parks and beautiful places like this is my religion.
Hoping you guys get a chance to get out, see something beautiful, and experience it sometime, too. It has been such a crazy year!
